For us Europeans, we can get it here; japan-messer-shop -
I guess that's why TFJ say on their web page; "*Special Note; We are unable to send these stones to Germany due to a special request by Suehiro. "

Thanked: 458Looks like the pre-VAT price for that place is about $260
Do you think they ship overseas without charging VAT?

Thanked: 458Stu and I know each other. If I bought one of the Suehiro Gokyumos from the German place, stu would reply to my email fast! I've been a big fan of what stu is trying to do from day 1, because before he was around in the US, we had a lot of mail order catalogs that were overhyping what they actually sold (this is from a tool user's perspective, but razor users have found him pretty quickly).
To my knowledge, stu doesn't do anything with VAT so for someone in the US, stu's price is the price.
I've never been real clear about european retailers and vat or no vat, mostly because their sites are often not in english.Last edited by DaveW; 10-16-2012 at 03:58 PM.
