Good question - I have 3 razors in rotation, been that way for over a year. Now I don't shave every day and I do strop before and after I shave. But all 3 are as sharp as they were when I last had them on a hone over a year ago and it doesn't look like they will need to be sharpened for at least another year. FWIW.
