    Default I broke my hone!

One of the lithide barber hones from Tilly. I had it set up on end to dry, and it fell over and cracked in two.

    *facepalm*

I suppose I can use the pieces to lap other stones, but I sure feel dumb.

I set mine up across two pencils.

Sorry to hear that FL. On a good note they're cheap so it won't cost you an arm and a leg to replace.

Looks like Lithide has a habit of doing that. Mine fell on a tile floor, and shattered into pieces...

I was beginning to wonder if they might be unusually brittle. I've subjected other hones to far worse and they have emerged unscathed.

I guess I'm in this club too - I broke my Lithide too. Got another one but don't really use it now after I got a Swaty

    Cheers

Wow! I hope you guys don't drop your razors as often as you drop your hones!

But seriously, sorry to hear about your hones.

    Hmmm...
I better go knock on wood now...

Oh my, at first read I thought you broke your BONE! Relieved it's just your hone.

You know, it's possible you may still be able to use your hone if one of the pieces is big enough and the surface is undamaged. Just thought I'd mention it.

Really, sorry to hear about it.
