    I don't know where you get your information - the Dovo Astrale was my first razor ever, and I still have it. It takes and keeps a fine edge, right there with the best of them.

    Wow, that is a shame. I have experienced a few Harts now and my observations do not match yours. No one is perfect, but they seem to have fantastic CS.

    So this weekend I was able to hone the razor. I followed Lynn's recommendations and tonight had a great shave. The Dovo Astrale was fantastic and a steal at $60!
