    Question stone

    Just wondering if any one has seen these before,and if so what are they like

    That looks like an arkansas stone, probably either a hard white or translucent grade stone.

    Col Conk brand used to and maybe still sells something like that . It was 1200 grit according to their website a couple of years ago. Your best bet is to find out exactly what the stone is. If they cannot tell you then do not buy it.
