Yes
Lynn and I have a thread and Vids using just about every Stone/Hone you can think of

That is the beginning of it.. We both have multiple Vids on the process using many differerent types of hones even the exceptionally slow Chinese PHIG

I've tried the one stone hone with a coticule, Dragons toungue, Naniwa 12k and the c12k. As stated above it is possible with the PHIG, just REALLLLY slooow. In most cases (and when no one's looking), I cheat and use a 1k to set the bevel though. It makes the rest of the process that much easier..

Gssixgun may not remember, but he answers this EXACT question in one of the vids. They're worth watching at least a few times. I believe it's thuringen one stone honing part 2. But I could be mistaken, and I don't want to sound too much like a youtube stalker.is it possible to apply this method on a norton 8k or even a naniwa 12K???
