check out these stones
Hello everyone im thinking about buying my first set of Norton water stones link:Norton Waterstones - Peachtree Woodworking Supply tell me if yall think if this is a good buy or anyone has or thinks any other water stones what could be better please let me know

Same setup I use and get very good results from them. They are probably the most used for honing straight razors.

I too love the Nortons. The 4k/8k is the only stone you will ever need. Everything else is just gravy. You will eventually probably want to get a 1k and a finisher so that package deal is a good idea because you are probably going to get addicted and want them doen the road anyway. If the price of the set is not within your budget you cant go wrong with only the 4k/8k. You can use nothing but that stone for the rest of ur life and get great shaves.
