    Default dmt 8 c

    Can i use a 325 dmt to lap a king 1k, i remember reading a rule somewhere about never use a dmt to lap a hone that's not adding up to double the amount of a dmt ur using? Hence a 1 k double is 200 grit the dmt is 325??

    Sure you can, works like a charm.
    The DMT is much harder than the King, so it will eat that with no problems.
    I have used DMT's, DGLP and Atoma's in that grit range all the way down to a Shapton 220 and Chosera 400.
    No worries!

    What really eats flattening plates is the harder JNats and a few other naturals...
    One Nakayama I had killed my first DMT 325.
    It took four or five hours of constant grinding before it gave up on me though
    And the JNat was flat alright!
