Hi everybody. I "rent" razors so I can practice my honing. I never know what I'm going to get and most of the time they are in bad shape but this one is really bad. It has "pitting" through out the edge, some parts are worse than others. I've been doing circles for awhile on my Naniwa SS 1k but there is still some pitting. Should I use my DMT 325 and keep grinding away until I hit good steel (hopefully)? or should I pass on this one? Here is a pic but I think you guys won't be able to see it.
