    Default in need of honing

    I have just ordered my first razor and want to have it honed and shave tested and all, any suggestions on where i should send it? Im in south carolina

    I've only done business with straight razor design ... No complaints from me. I would suggest giving them a go

    My own personal opinion would be to go to Glen or otherwise known as gssixgun on here he-does excellent work and isn't that expensive!

    Lol- let me rephrase this I have only used Glen thus the plug! Now I will insert foot into my mouth.

    I've enjoyed edges from Glen, Lynn (on other's blades) and Mainaman. All lovely shaves. There's a couple others I'd like to taste an edge from. I'd offer to do for just the cost of return shipping, but you mention this is a first blade. Here, I think having confidence in the edge is important. If you pay for a known honemeister's work - you know any shortcomings are just part of your learning curve. You deserve that confidence.
