    Default Denver area honing

I have had my straight razor for a few months now and i accidentally hit it on the sink and it definitely needs to be honed now I dont have the confidence to do it myself and would either like to take it to someone to show me how to do it or pay them to do it for me. I live in Denver, CO so if any member could help me out or point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

    Thanks

Below in my sig. line are links to the vendors and classified sections of SRP. Look through them and you'll find some very capable honers. You can contact them via pm's (click on their user name and select private message) and a picture of your razor would be helpful.

Welcome to the SRP forum, glad to have you on board.

There is quite a large and active Rocky Mountain membership and there is a Meet each year

Thanks for the advice, I just wanted to see if there was anyone local I could take it to before shipping it out but if not I will most likely use one of the guys on the classifieds page.

Did you find someone in Denver that you were able to use? I am in the same boat here in Denver.

You might be waiting a while for a reply, Denvershaver hasn't been on the forum since the end of January. But maybe one of the other denverans might chime in.

I did find two places here in Denver to do it, Colorado Shaver Center, and Retro Barber LLC. Have not used either, will call them and feel them out.
