Thread: Howard TPE / Belgian - THANKS!

I just received the exchange for my Belgian natural, which somehow came with a long diagonal crack. (sure - I was bummed when I saw it)

This was very very fast, as Howard used Priority mail. He also included a Cotigura stone for slurry for the inconvenience!

I wanted to thank him publicly and recommend him to you guys

Ivo, I'm glad it worked out for you favourably.. I may give my Belgian another shot after the Lithide

Ilija, I am not sure why you would leave the Belgian after the Lithide. Or is it save the best for last? I would rather first see how the Belgian works. After all, much better reputation from the advanced users and honemeisters

This particular Belgian left me with mixed results so I stopped using it for a while and finished all of my blades on N8k. I learned a few things about honing since then, but the lithide caught my attention first and I promised myself I'd try it first before doing any other honing experiments.
