    Default dmt 325 vs 1200

    i was just curious if the dmt 1200 (or even the 600 for that matter) would do as good of a job lapping as the 325 or if there is reason why the 325 seems to be so much more common. was thinking about ordering a new stone for lapping and just thought of this

    Is not recomended by DMT to use the higher grits for lapping as They say it can damage the the plate,I do it all the time,have not had any issues.
