I CAN FINALY HONE

Thanks to all you guys that ask questions so that I don't have to look stupid I can finaly say that I can hone my own razors.

I finaly got a new Dovo that I bought two years ago to shave very smoothly and then with some trepidation started on the rest of my rotation.

They all shave wonderfully and I must say that it's quite satisfying to complete the "circle" and look after my own razors.

A stone I won on Ebay a couple of weeks ago (I posted a thread asking opinions of what it was) still not sure, and a paddle strop from Tony Miller

Before this I was using a king brand stone 4000/8000 and wasn't getting good results.
