Default Reverse spine leading x stroke

Could somebody please explain to me how you would exactly do that stroke saw it on a different forum.. Is it similar to a stroke you do when stropping.......?... Except you do the x stroke instead of straight back and fourth

Strop on the hone, but frankly it is just some one trying to think of "new way" to be cool on the forums.
It does not work better than the traditional edge forward method. Heel trailing leads to easy convexing of the bevel which is what you do not want on a razor, it is good for knives though.
    JimmyHAD and HNSB like this.
