Thanked: 3Would appreciate help identifying this Kamisori please.
Hi everyone, I received this Kamisori yesterday (eBay purchase) and would like to find out what style and maker this is if I can. Here is a closer picture of the Kanji.

Hello, here is my attempt:
Starting from the top right it says:
日本 - nihon or nippon - "Japan"
刀打 - the reading of these kanji is a bit difficoult. I found the opposite combination 打刀 (うちがたな) the meaning anyway should be the same "forged blade" or "forged katana" 打= to forge 刀=blade, katana
吉妻作 - Yoshizuma saku - "Made by Yoshizuma"
In the Middle row we have:
特級 - tokkyu - "high grade"
登録商標 - touroku shouhyou - "trade mark"
誂別 - choubetsu - something like "special" or "uncommon"
剪刀 - sentou - "scissors", surgical type maybe (but why on a kamisori?)

Thanked: 3Don't tell me I need to learn to read Japanese in order to get this completely figured out, lol. Either way, it's a great razor and a great shaver.
