    Default South Korea Vacation

Heading out to South Korea tomorrow night. Our flight leaves out around 6 PM mountain time. We arrive in Seoul around 11 am on the 23rd!

I am so not looking forward to be stuck on an air plane for 12 hours for just one flight crossing the Pacific Ocean.
The reason we are going to South Korea is that my wife was invited to a Martial Arts Tournament. She is a double Black belt in Taekwondo and Kumdo (Korean Sword fighting).

Should be a good time.........Not your usual place to go for a holiday.....lol

So I will be MIA for about 2 weeks......

Yall take care and keep on shaving!

My daughter just got a job offer for a teaching position in Korea. Perhaps I too will make it there holidaying. I'd be happy to hear your observations.

Look for some razors roaming in the Far East wild!

They have some awesome food. Don't eat too much Kimchi while your there.
I would love to visit some of the Asian countries before too long.

Take care and have a safe trip.

We made it back last Saturday. It was good time. They drive very fast and for a lack of better word....Reckless. Not many accidents, but I was on edge a few times. Very clean country! When walking around either the resort or in Seoul, hardly saw any trash cans, yet no trash on the ground. The odd lil piece or 2, but compared to most places.....VERY CLEAN! I saw a ton of exotic cars while in the city and the resort. Koreans seem to like the expensive things and to look good. You got money and look good, you get A= service. The food was awesome. Even rode the subway in Seoul. That was a story in itself.....lol I'll post pics soon, when I am not lazy.

The flight was long! 12 hours in an air plane in coach sucked! Jet lagged kicked my butt for a few days coming back. Going to there wasn't as bad for some reason.

Kimchi.... I tried it twice. I'm good for a while on that..... And RICE! 3 times a day...... Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner..... I've had my rice fill for a while.

And didn't see any straight razors. Didn't really get the chance to look around. And besides, most items, if they imported there..... $$$$!

My wife did pretty well in the Tournament.... 1 Gold medal, 1 Silver and 3 Bronze. Not too shabby!
