Thanked: 0Barber's Hones in the UK?
Are they a thing there/here?
Looking on ebay there's some fairly cheap in the US and in certain parts of Europe but nothing here.
Do we just not have them much here?
Thanks.

Not many barber hones on eBay. There are a couple of Swaty's very reasonably priced but shipping to the UK may be high. They are considered some of the better barber hones and are highly sought after. I own one and am very happy with it.

Thanked: 0Thanks for that. As you say the shipping is pretty high. I'd thought of getting on in the spirit of 'experiment a bit with that, get used to it' in line with what I understood from Lynn's DVD.
But adding the cost of shipping brings the price up a bit.

Thanked: 0I see that Whipped Dog had a "BH161027G Barber's Hone" for $16 plus $5 shipping to the UK, which seemed reasonable.
I was also considering WD's unseen razors as well as a first blade.
