    Hello,
in Czechia and Slovakia there is the forum about wet shaving, throat razor shaving and razor blades. Czech and Slovak are somewhat different languages, but we understand each other. :-)

Very nice you have something similar there. Happy shaving to you all and greetings from fellow enthusiasts in the western world.

Yeah I have been on that forum. Even though I grew up in Greece and live in the US since 2004 I was a born in Czech and still speaks the language.

Google translate seems to work well.

I have never seen stropping referred to as Belt Pulling.

What does "belt pulling" mean? Is this another term for stropping of a straight razor?

Google translate does funny things. If you have ever looked at ebay.fr you will know that coupe choux (French for straight razor) is translated as "cut cabbage".

Belt pulling used to mean something else when we were kids.
