What is the average going price for one? I found one in tokyo and was wondering if the price was good or not. They used to have a touske, but now only iwasaki's.

The ones I see around go from 25,000 to 30,000 JPY. The size twos are considerably more...

It's bigger than a size one...the blade is 60mm. And it costs a lot.
figure 40,000+
If it's 60000+, look for the kanji 玉鋼, that's tamahagane, the special Japanese steel.
Or you could ask the store staff--size two is "ni chou ga-ke". 二丁垳。
