    Default pre-lapped Nakayama

    新年明けましておめでとうございます,

    I thought I'd share this for posterity before I lap it's face off. It's 5.5 x 1 x 3 inches. I've never seen a Japanese waterstone with a lot of English writing before...

    Did you get that from Aframestokyo?
    he has stocked a bunch of razor sized Nakayamas lately.

    I did indeed buy the stone from Aframestokyo. He recently received a slew of waterstones, Iwasaki western (Tamahagane) and Japanese style razors. He had one particularly beautiful stone that was white with cherry-colored marks all over the surface.
