    Default How to keep edge safe on Japanese blades?

    After shaving couple times i have find a new problem with japanese blades. How i have to store it not to hit the edge.thank you

    I wrap mine with oxidation paper and place it in its box. You can also use toilet paper or wax paper.

    I have made two scabbards. I am not convinced that it helps, even though i was careful to try to keep the edge from touching, sometimes it becomes mysterious dull.

    the traditional kiri box or a magnet box like Baldridge's probably better/easier than fitted sheaths
