Need a new knife help
On eBay I've learned to alway read Description AND Item Specs. Pictures and descriptions may look good only to have the specs show something different.
Ex. Bought a knife from a dealer on eBay that looked to be US made. When it came it wasn't!!! Emed the seller who said : it was right there in the item spec that it was made in ............
The every long description and numerous photos never said or showed that it was made there. But he was right! In the Item Spec and I should have looked there!! Live and learn!

After 50 years or more of carrying a pocket knife, and going through various models, I settled on the Case XX 61048 many years ago. Opens with the flick of the thumb and has a thin blade which is ideal for cutting peaches, apples and whatever else. Lightweight and won't 'wear a hole in your pocket', as the man who introduced me to it in 1973 pointed out.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Not a one hand knife.
Also not a one hand knife.
Anything by Spyderco is pretty functional and usually pretty budget friendly. Whether it's cool looking or not can be debatable however. Some people love the look of the opening hole while others LOATHE it. (Some like me fall in between. I like it on some don't on others.)
You didn't mention a budget though....how much will you be looking to spend? There's an amazing range of knives out there that fall within your specs but not all of them might fall within your budget range.
