Thanked: 22Henckels 102-11
Well I first fell down the rabbit hole of RAD a few months ago, and now I find that I desperately need to replace my cheap 8" no name chef knife that holds an average edge at best with this old beast:
Vintage J A Henckels Twin Works Solingen Germany 11" Chef's Kitchen Knife | eBay
Can't wait to hone it up and start chopping vegetables for Sunday dinner!!

Thanked: 228Nice, although I have found that for me, I have found a standard 8 inch blade a bit more comfortable for me to handle. Nice score though. I never thought to look on ebay for vintage knives.

Thanked: 4826At that price how could you go wrong. I would hate for my wife to find out how much I paid for my Henckels knives.
