First Knife
Its been a little while since my last post, but I definitely have something to show for it!
This is technically my second knife that I have made, but I feel closer to this one as I did it mostly at home by myself. I only had to go out to use a friends forge for heat treating.
This one was also special as it was an early Christmas pressie for my brother as he is not home for chrissy and is instead going on a holiday...rude I tell ya!
Its by no means perfect and had enough issues to have me wanting to rip out a few of my dreads before it was finished but I persevered and got it done, learning a fair bit on the way. Was a little sad that something I felt so close to was going to another, but seeing his reaction and the way he looked at and then proceeded to shred everything in sight with it made it all worth while!

Always give your best to others. It will come back to you, as you say.Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
