Thanked: 4206Richards Sheffield pocket knife
A colleague at work had his grandfathers old pocket carry and wanted me to see what I could do for it. He wants to give it to his son, keep it in the family and all that.
So I stripped what was left down partially and soaked it in mineral spirits hoping to get the small, inner hardware working again.
No dice, seized up tight, so plan B, build to suit.
He left it up to me to choose materials, but was hoping it still looked it age when complete. So I opted for some ebony and a little monogram action.
Just need to sharpen it up now. Sorry for the dust bunnies. They are everywhere when I try to film stuff.
Hope he's happy and the knife stays in the field another lifetime now.
