Damascus neckknife in pink dragen takedown handle
This is the first neck knife I have ever made. Scott and I made a bet on the Mayweather McGregor fight. Each of us would make a neck knife and the person who won would get the knife of the other person.
I won the bet so I'm getting the knife Scott made, and I wanted to share the pics of the knife I made. It's a takedown handle mounted with small torx screws sunken into the handle. The blade was cleaned and etched all over.

I do not like using the same words over and over on our forum, but, when a stunning piece of craftsmanship shows up stunning is the word that comes to mind immediately.

Thanked: 4826I have often contemplated a serrated neckknife for work, that one however is not one I would ever bring to work. That environment is way to harsh for such a beautiful piece of work.

Aloha!
Stunning piece of work. I wish I had that kind of craftsmanship in my hands.

Time and effort.
11 years ago I knew nothing about steel or working it. The difficult part is usually to get started. Once you've done that, it's just a matter of setting one foot in front of the other. Last time at Charlie's place I made a multi step piece of damascus by hand, and I said it's not that I am better then anyone else. I'm just too stupid to know when to quit.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
