No reason at all, imho.
Most any knife will do what this one does.
Honestly, a 10 Dollar gas station folder will, in most any everyday task, do just as fine as a Rockstead, a Begg, an Azrael or other high end knives to most knife-users.
Heck, in many cases even more, seeing as many are too afraid of scratching or damaging their finer pieces so they are basically safe-queens.
It's just as with custom razors really.
Do they add anything at all to a shave as compared to a Dovo Best quality or a $20 beater from the 30's with a proper edge on it?
No, they do not!
To the shavers enjoyment, imagination or feeling of satisfaction perhaps, but the shave in and of itself? Nope.
What a crazy world we all live in..
Birnando,
This pretty much sums up what i was thinking, i think. :)
LX, i wasn't having a go at you, but a lot like Bruno, I am not really a collector of things. Yes I do have multiples of some things, and also things I have bought that I probably shouldn't.
If you enjoy your collection then good for you. :)
I've got a belt don't i?

My current EDC is a promotional knife with a bottle opener that the wife gave me. But today is my birthday so I treated myself to a new pocket knife. A colt canoe.
Not expensive but got a good writeup when I did some reading.
