One more
After receiving my Chris Reeve Sebenza, I kinda fell in love with this brand.
So, I decided to get another one.
This time an Umnumzaan.
A bit beefier blade stock than the sebenza, and with a Tanto blade.
I'm seeing this as my choice of weaponry for those days when I'm doing rougher work around the house and at work.
This folding knife thing is starting to get to me, I already have a few more in my sights...
Again, a stock photo I'm afraid
Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

The blade on that one is a Stainless damascus/Cowry-X laminate.
The outer layers are stainless damascus steel with a core of Cowry-X steel sandwiched in between. Cowry-X has a CRAZY amount of carbon in it (approaching 3 points where most normal carbon/stainless steels only have around 1 point or so) and in this case is hardened to rockwell 65-67 or so. It has amazing edge retention.
And offcourse it looks stunning.

Technically, that is not even steel anymore, which is defined to be between .2 and 2 % carbon content.
