currently a Spyderco Military CPM 440V (S60V since the name change)
it meets certain requirements like being a big scary weapon, but lacks in other places
the tip is thin
tip up carry
can't be zip-tie waved
to it's credit it is very
light and large at the same time
strong lock
very flat for such a large knife (.42 handle thickness and .58 to outside of clip)
the handle is large enough for a solid grip even with gloves
very easy penetration of unrated (for knife) soft armor (level II)
the S60V steel is spectacular
I recently cut about 500 feet of heavy cardboard and the knife was still very sharp. Much sharper than some other steels I've used.
good knife, but I want betterLast edited by gratewhitehuntr; 08-01-2009 at 07:27 PM.
