Thanked: 101Just recently bought 2 new knives.....Both Kershaw. One at WalMart and the other at a local gunshop. I got the WalMart Kershaw for around 38 bucks. It is a Ken Onion design. It is called the "Needs Work". The name through me off a little. I thought I was getting a repaired knife when I bought it. It has assisted "Speed Safe" opening. Very nice knife. USA made. The other is a Kershaw "Scamp" I got at the gunshop. It is China made, but a nice knife all the same. The thumb stud doesn't work for me. The geometry is all wrong in it's placement. I just snap my wrist to open like I do for my Spyderco. Fast as an automatic. I paid under 20 for this one and it carries the Lifetime warranty like all their other knives. I had to flip the clip on the Scamp though. In doing so I stripped the Hex screw holes out. They must be soft steel apparently. I just slotted the screw heads with the Dremmel and a steady hand. Good as new. I am pleased with both of them.
Here they are:
