Default USA made Bulldog Brand pocket knives!

Today I received the fourth USA made Bulldog pocket knife! These are rather collectable as they were only made in the States for one year, 1995! From 78 until 94 they were made in Germany! James parker bought the company in 93, and I believe his intention was to start manufacturing them along with WR Case knives ( He owned Case for a time also ) through the Bluegrass Cutlery Company! I guess he changed his mind and let them remain in Germany because, as I said, they only made them here for one year!
These are known as Sowbelly Whittlers! The sowbelly part should be apparent! The whittler pattern is where you have two smaller blades at one end of the knife and one large blade at the other end! on whittler patterns, when you close the knife the large blade nestles between the two smaller blades!

The first is stag, second is smooth yellow tan bone. third is yellow jigged bone, fourth is red jigged bone! All are mint except the red jigged bone!

Cool vintage knives JMS. Did bulldog make razors too?? I have a razor that has the word bulldog stamped on the tang, but no bulldog picture. It was made in Germany. The razor came to me blemish free without scales and has a sizable chunk missing on the cutting edge. I believe that someone with much patience and skill could make it a very nice razor. The sad thing about it is I have neither. If you are interested in it PM me. I will let it go cheap.
