Thought a few of the knife and sward collectors out there might get a kick out of this.

That was interesting, certainly. Though I have to say the guy with the tie followed through way too much in a way that put him off balance completely. The guy in black was much more controlled.
And for home defense I wouldn't use it either, simply because in my house (like most European houses) there is not enough room to swing a broadsword.
Still, when judged by itself, it's an impressive weapon.

I have actually had a demonstration on the ability of these types of swords. The interesting thing is, if your straight razor was the same sharpness as one of these swords you could not cut a single hair on your body and I doubt seriously that you could break your skin but when you wield this sword it cuts through whatever gets in its way as if it was as sharp as a razor.

And Ironically, if the sword was as sharp and hard as your razor, the edge would crumble and the blade would chip out badly.

It may very well be... But I doubt I'll ever be in a fight and have a greatsword on me... I edc two or three good knives... But How will I get a greatsword onto my campus? Hmmm

I've never really been fond of the marketing for Cold Steel, but some of their knives are actually pretty good.You could hide it in your pants...who knows? you might make some new friends.
