I used this one to kill a 12oz T-Bone last week; I'm also gonna use it to slay a ham on the 4th of July.

Only Knife I carry.Mel Pardue,1st production run,ATS 34
Two of many things that are with me daily, a SOG Trident is my utility knife when I am out and about,
when I am working at home (I have a Farm) it is a cold steel Vaquero grande.

They've probably been mentioned on this thread before but I'm a sucker for SOG. Got two fixed blades a few years back (Daggert 2 and Tech Bowie) NIIIIICCCCEE knives and solid IMO. Plus I watched the video where they fire a bullet at the edge of one of their knives and it splits the led and stays sharp.
SOG has a lot of fans, and with good reason.
Look what arrived today.

I'm looking forward to getting it out into the bush. Didn't arrive as sharp as the YouTubez had led me to believe, though...
Still. I'll use it to combat boredom in the bush and the lack of kindling.
That'll work. :tu
The only combat knife I ever had in the military was was our M8 bayonet. I did have a Swiss Army knife but I don't think it was for combat.
