I have a Wetterlings Large Hunting Axe. I'll probably get the Gransfors equivalent also...

I'm looking forward to getting it out into the bush. Didn't arrive as sharp as the YouTubez had led me to believe, though...

Still. I'll use it to combat boredom in the bush and the lack of kindling.

The only combat knife I ever had in the military was was our M8 bayonet. I did have a Swiss Army knife but I don't think it was for combat.

The M8 is ok but what were they thinking when they designed the M9?

the M9 must been after I got out. The M8 was the same one they used on the M1 carbine. But ours had a rubber grip and the original had stacked leather.
