I really like the look of that Gerber bowie.
But I do have a fondness for coffin handles.

I am a huge fan of the Emerson Wave.
Randall's were the knife in the Nam. They were popular with the Special Forces and a lot were WWII era Army Ranger passed down in the family. Very difficult to get one but you could trade crossbows from the hill tribes complete with bamboo arrows with poison. AK's could always be sold or traded for anything as well as NVA flags.
Combat Engineers had some cool non-sparking knives for working with C-4.
I think I responded n this thread earlier, but I totally agree , my Randall served me well. Tc
I like the knives from Ontario knife works. Made here in America!

I had purchased a lot of stuff from a old guy from Church and there were several blanks in it. This one is made of AUS-8 & cryo treated. I put scales on it and had my leather guy to do up a proper sheath. "It will cut". I'll most likely pass this one on one day as these big knives aren't really my cup of tea...but boy does it feel good in the hand! Maybe I will do a "Naked & Afraid" episode!
