Thanked: 1072Sheffield Knives
Thought some of you might be interested in this. I dont know how common these knives are in the U.S. but these old Sheffield butter/dinner knives are fairly common over here. you can usually pick them up in Antique stores for around 5 bucks each. I love them, I learnt how good they are when I worked in the sign industry. I used to use them to remove metal signs off walls by sticking the knife down behind the sign and levering it off. These things are tough! anyway yesterday I found some for $1 each so I had to grab a few more for the kitchen. Cool thing is 2 of them are Joseph Rodgers.
