Thread: Hello from Pennsylvania USA

Hi. I started shaving with a straight razor when my son was born a couple weeks ago. I want to shave like a man should shave. I'm currently using a bottom dollar unit with disposable shark blades from amazon. Last week I found this forum in researching my technique. I have lots to learn, but I look forward to shaving for the first time in my life. There is a huge difference in my skin and beard. Once I figure out my technique I hope to step it up to a more permanent razor, which I think also lead me to this forum. Nice to meet everyone and see you in the forum!

Welcome!!! I live in Northern Schuylkill county (eastern pa). There are many helpful people around here that can help you with pretty much anything you need or want to know. The classifieds here are a good place to look for your first razor.

I've been at it a little over a year and would never go back to cartridges. I'm sure you'll end up the same.
