A Brief Introduction
Hello there members. I'd like to introduce myself to you all as a complete shaving NOOB!
My name is John, and I came here to learn as much as I could about straight razor shaving.
Im 19, and I am no stranger to shaving, I have never been allowed to grow my beard out, either because of HS sports, or my job. So I have been trimming my tiny whiskers for almost 6 years, as of late my regular razor has been a Gillette Fusion Pro Glide, and I have gotten the best shaves(Cartridge razor-wise) over any other razor, and believe I have tried most of them.
I believe I am ready to take the next step into actually enjoying my shaves!
Thank you all for having me.

Welcome. If you haven't done so already, I recommend you start in the Wiki section of SRP by scouring through the beginners section and the FAQs. It's a great place to start, in addition to the forum. It can be found here: Straight Razor Place Wiki - Straight Razor Place Wiki

Welcome to SRP, as above, check the wiki/library if you have questions and if you don't find the answer, just ask.

Thanks for the response guys. I've spent a few days just perusing the forum/beginners guides, and an trying to absorb as much as possible. I also have my eye on a SR or two, after that, cream, a strop and brush should be terribly hard to find.
I'll definitely keep you updated though!
Thanks
John
Edit: I also cant wait to start the process of SR shaving, because my current job does not allow facial hair(I know right).Last edited by jchad20; 07-13-2013 at 06:12 PM.
