Thread: Hello from Belgium

hi all i am Kenny a 32year old guy newbie from Belgium.

started talking a few weeks ago about shaving with a straight and got a 3 razors that my dad had lying around. He never used thesm as he bought them on flea-markets.

1 off them i used and i liked it right away.

Saturday i am going for a DOVO.
brand spankin new ebony wood and black knife.

gonna try restore the ones i got so gonna need u guys alot.

Start with the Library to read about restoring, and feel free to ask questions.

Be aware that DOVO's don't come shave ready from the factory, and may need the touch of a pro honer to get it ready. Of course if you are buying from one of the well respected vendors it should not be an issue.

i know the shop i am going does restoring and honing so all ask them.
and the library is pretty nice, one of the reasons i am on her :-)

bought myself a Dovo diamond today and the shop owner honned the unknown razor i got aswell.
after witch he asked me to self it to him...
kept it
anyways got 2 honned razors now.
