Thanked: 1Greetings from Calgary, Alberta
Hello all,
I have been lurking for a while but thought it was a good idea to say hello. I have suffered thru electric razors all my life and then had an epiphany a few months back. I was in Turkey for a month where straight razor shaves are common so I gave it a whirl and put my face under the knife so to speak. I walked out astounded with the quality of shave and found myself returning every couple of days to a new barber in a new town. I was officially hooked.
When I returned to Canada I bought a DE razor, that lasted a couple weeks then I bought a straight. So far it has been a very enjoyable experience and I have gleaned a lot of very useful info from SRP which has helped make the wet shaving learning curve a little gentler. The depth of experience here is really quite impressive and the willing to share info really nelps newbies like me.
