    Default Hi from China!

Hey there everyone. My name is Josh and I live in China with my family (wife and 6 kids ranging from 8.5 down to 5 months - yes, life is crazy!). I bought my first SR startup kit back in '06. Got a DOVO razor with a strop and some other goodies. Because of how crazy things were with traveling and changing lots of diapers I just didn't have the time or energy to enjoy SR shaving. A few months ago I got the urge again! I started shaving again and in preparation for going back to the States for a couple weeks I got a nice badger hair brush and some new soap. While poking around on a few sites I started seeing people talk about restoring old razors. I put out an e-mail to some friends and was able to get 5 razors. While I was in the States I found 3 more razors at antique shops. Now I have 8 old razors and almost all the tools I need to start restoring them. I'm sure I'm going to have a ton of questions along the way and I look forward to interacting with you all. God bless!

Welcome and best of luck in your choice to restore old razors! Putting more razors back in circulation is always a good thing. Take care.
