Hi Folks,
I'm easing my way into SRS. I have a razor so far. My plan is to get a brush, pre-shave, shaving cream, and other initial accoutrements to adopt the cartridge shaving to the pre and post shave SRS experience. Once I get a strop and a stone, I will segue into SRS. I have experience sharpening and honing hand woodworking tools so I think that I can learn to hone and strop the razor fairly well. I want to take this opportunity to thank folks in advance for the information on these forums and for the inevitable questions that will arise.

Honing razors may require some minor adjustments to what you're used to but all the info you need is here & if you can't find it, just ask .The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
