Hi Mike,
Whereabouts in Ont are you? There are quite a few of us scattered around the province, so there might be someone local who could give you a hand.
And if there's any way you can make it to Mike's, you'll probably learn more in an afternoon there than you would in weeks or months of reading posts here!
Kris
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Thanked: 4207I live in Orangeville, which is an hour from everywhere, as I like to say. And I intend to make it down to tillsonberg at this point as it will be such a chance to pick up tips and techniques as you say.
I have been working the barber hone and up after each shave on both blades until two days ago as there was still what I felt was a dull edge still.
Two days back I got to the point where I heard and felt hairs on the side of my leg popping as they were cut mid way off my skin so I felt I was finally there.
Have only tried the Boker post honing as the damn beard only grows so fast,, hehe. First time I ever said that! But it was smooth,, and cut with and against the grain quite easily. My first shave that rivaled my old cartridge by my own hand I'd say.
Tomorrow I'll try the Ontario and see how it fairs..
Scanning the classifieds for a nice shave ready and almost bid on the SRP razor that was on briefly, but snoozed and loozed..
Cheers all, and thanks for the tips and continuing welcome..
