Hello From Ontario

Hello all,

From south western Ontario Canada and new to straight shaving. Recently purchased an A. Witte Gold Bug and a Dovo Master's that are both used.
I shaved with the Master's yesterday and it was OK but I think it needs to be honed.

Anyone know of someone that hones locally between Kitchener and London?

I'm excited to use this site as a wealth of information to the new hobby I am starting.

Welcome to the forum. There are quite a few guys in southern Ontario that belong to this forum and they may have some answers about your honing need. I have personally had Phil at Classicedge do some honing for me and he did a very good job of it. You can check out Honing if you like.

P.S. I'd also love to see that gold bug. I also have one and its just a superb shaver!! post some pics, I'm sure the others would love to see both razors.
