Default Hi from little ol' New Zealand

I've finally made it! After years of reading through Straight Razor Place I can now make comments as well as read them, excellent. No idea why it's taken so long...

I've been shaving with a Cut-throat exclusively for a few years now and still loving it. A huge thanks for all the inspirational members here whose posts have answered my questions too, now maybe I can give something back.

    See you round,
    Simon

Welcome officially to SRP. I've found this to be a most satisfying forum. Excellent good and take as you've read these past years. Check out some of the postings under the Conversation thread. Some are quite good and fun and on the lighter side of shaving with death instruments!

Welcome, Simon! Quite a good New Zealand contingent here!

    Thanks for the welcome.

Yeah I often see posts from NZ members on the forum. I'll have to search and see if I can find a NZ members sub-forum somewhere, if one exists at all. Coming from a tiny island in the middle of and on the way to absolutely nowhere does present some challenges as far as cut-throat gear goes. Though it's getting better, when I first started out there was hardly anything at all. Hopefully that means that traditional shaving is on the up round these parts.

Welcome to the Asylum. Now why do we need a sub forum for New Zealand again? I think the Down under forum is where all the bloody Kiwi's hang out...Just like in the real world :P.

Yeah I went over and had a look, but in the end there were just too many aussies there I actually did have a look, the first thread I checked out had something to do with an Australian take on Star Wars. I've been meaning to watch the clip ever since but haven't got round to it.

Thanks for the welcome, will see you round no doubt

That was one of my posts and the film has been released at just one cinema in Brisbane for now. It was made to raise money for charity.
