Thanked: 0Hello everyone
Ok so I have been a wet shaver for a long time, safety razors only and I'm getting ready to take on the straight. Was watching a YouTube online from shave nation and I got to tell you he makes shaving with a straight razor look so simple. I do not own a straight razor yet and was wondering if using a replaceable blade straight would be a good starter? My thoughts are that this would take all the blade sharp / strop out of questioning good or bad? Also they are a tad cheaper that a true straight razor.

That's pretty much what I did for the first year. Definitely a valid option. If you go look in the shavette forum, you should find plenty of good examples. Welcome aboard and best of luck!
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.
