    Default Deployed with razors

    Hello everyone, I am new to the forum but have been wetshaving for about 10 years but recently began shaving everyday with a straight razor. I picked up a vintage Dovo, a BUR by Carl Friedrich, and a pair of Shavettes. At first the guys I with were thinking I was either crazy or masochistic. But now they are all asking about what brushes to buy and how to strop correctly. I love how shaving like a man inspires others to pick it up too.

    Ha! Good for you Kevin. I think so many people have this mental picture of a severed jugular vein on their fist shaving attempt that they are put off by the thought. But, when they can watch a guy, just like themselves, enjoy a blood-free straight razor shave it starts to look like fun rather than self-mutilation. Keep up the "missionary" work Kevin, and welcome to the SRP forum.
