Thanked: 0Hi from England.
Hi to you all.
Well i'm very new to all this. I've been shaving with a DE for about a month now and getting on fine, lots of trial and error with blades and learning the correct technique. As new as i still am though i've not been getting as close a shave as i'd like and have decidid to dive in to straight shaving.
I recently found a small cache of straights in a local antiques place and picked the best one i could from my limited knowledge, a fair condition puma 95 that i am going to restore and hopefully have honed by niel miller to use as my first straight. however i have had a slight setback in that i just broke the back scale clean in 2 trying to unpin it, whilst all the time telling myself to not be as heavy handed with it as i usually am with things! Sooooo im on the search for a nice plain black scale for it to replace the damaged one if anyone knows of any or has lying around.
Thanks,
Lee.

Thanked: 983Welcome to the forum Lee. You've come to the right place for help and advice. I would suggest you talk to the blokes in 'The Workshop' about spares and how to's. They're all a little crazy in there (we think it's the glue), but they're quite harmless .
