Thanked: 0Hello From glorious north carolina!
Hello everyone! I have been lurking all over the internet after researching my troubles and have found SRP. I try to shave as little as possible now because if I try to shave with a multiblade the next day after I've shaved, it feels as if I'm dragging barb wire across my face, so usually I don't bother. However, now that I need to wear a respirator, full beards are a no go, clean shave would be best. After much googling to my problems, I found I'm not alone, not even close. So I want to pick something up that will be good for my skin and purely customizable. I've ordered mostly everything I'll need except a razor. I've found 2 (one is trash unfortunately) the other just needs to be honed. $40 find at an antique store and already cleaned up, but needs work. Once I get a price and ship this off to a reputable member (half the reason I made a profile) we'll be in business

Many of us know how you feel about shaving. I wouldnt shave more than once a week as that was how long it took for my neck to be ok again. With a straight you won't have great results straight up but you can get there and finally be able to shave when you want to without the irritation. Good luck
My wife calls me......... Can you just use Ed

Hello and welcome to SRP you have found the right place for straight razors and everything you need (including the vast amounts of shared knowledge). I see you are in NC I am across the the mountains in Knoxville. Go to the classifieds and check out the member services, there you will find those who can help you get a razor "shave sharp".
